Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher supports daily operations by stepping in as a lead or assistant teacher when regular staff are absent, implementing developmentally appropriate educational activities, and fostering a warm, nurturing environment for children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. This role also involves maintaining compliance with standards, following safety and medical procedures, and communicating effectively with staff and families.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and demonstrate competency in providing nurturing teacher-Child interactions, implementing curriculum, and promoting children's progress across learning standards. Required certifications include current tb screening, first aid, and pediatric cpr, along with completing mandatory state-Approved training within the first 90 days and annually thereafter.
