Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County (BGCLC) is a place for kids to laugh, a place to learn, a place to grow and a place to belong. We are looking for an energetic, fun-loving, adaptable youth-focused individual to help foster a fun, safe, and positive summer experience for youth in Larimer County.
In this position, you will
- Lead school-aged youth in different activities such as academic enrichment, recreation, technology, sports, and the arts. Ensure the physical, social, and emotional safety for all Club Members. Act as a role model and mentor for youth ages 5 - 18 (ages vary based on the Club location).
- You must be willing to: Have fun, laugh & be silly! Be present and engage with Club Members. Be a role model for Club Members. This is a seasonal, non-exempt, part-time position with a pay rate of $16/hour. Start dates from April 1st, 2026 - May 18th, 2026 & end date of July 31st 2026. A return bonus of $150 is available for eligible staff who meet return requirements including completion of a full summer program or 6 months of school-year employment within the last 3 years.
Requirements
Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience At least three 3 months (455 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of four 4 or more children over the ages of four 4 (not related to the individual), preferred. Specialized Skills Bilingual Spanish speaking is preferred. Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior issues. Ability to maintain confidentiality, secure personal information and comply with mandated reporting requirements. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal/driving records investigation and reference checks.
