Volunteer, Student Extern, Dental Assistant

The dental assistant extern provides support to the dental department while gaining knowledge of community health care. Responsibilities include performing volunteer duties as assigned under direct supervision.

Candidates should have an interest in fhcsd's mission and be enrolled in an accredited dental assistant certification program. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient groups.
