The Occupational Therapy Assistant provides one-on-one occupational therapy treatments to residents and implements treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. They also document treatments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident goals.
Candidates must have an Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and a current state license. Experience in Assisted Living or Geriatric Therapy is preferred, along with strong communication and time-management skills.

Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Current license or eligible for license under statutes in the state of practice. Prefer minimum one (1) year rehabilitation experience in setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility. Prefer active membership in the state and national American Occupational Therapy Association. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Adequate computer skills in order to complete required job duties and computerized documentation. Ability to understand and follow the directions of the Occupational Therapist and the policies and procedures of Vertis Therapy.
