Direct Support Professional, Vocational

The direct support professional is primarily responsible for skills training and the development and implementation of facility and community-Based program activities aimed at expanding skills and integrating consumers into the community, including competitive integrated employment. Responsibilities also include providing transportation, assisting clients with activities of daily living (Adls), and fostering independence and life skill retention.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and have one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities, in addition to being 21 years of age or older. Applicants must also maintain a valid pa driver's license and meet insurance guidelines, along with holding required certifications like bls/Cpr and ccmc.
