Summer Instructor, Oak Park/River Forest

The summer instructor will lead hands-On design challenges and outdoor activities, facilitating galileo’s innovative, project-Based curriculum across various rotations like innovator’s studio and idea lab for groups up to 28 campers. Responsibilities also include ensuring a safe learning space, managing camper behavior using restorative practices, and actively engaging in all camp traditions.

Candidates must have at least one year of instructional or classroom support experience in k-8 education, or equivalent experience, and are required to have experience teaching, caring for, supervising, coaching, or mentoring children. Applicants must be at least 18 years old by may 1st, 2026, and commit to the full duration of the camp (4-8 continuous weeks).
