Assistant Professor of Teacher Education (Middle Grades and Secondary)

The assistant professor will teach pedagogy and content-Specific courses in middle and secondary education, focusing on initial licensure programs, while also collaborating on scheduling, program review, and curriculum development. Key duties include advising students, supervising field experiences, monitoring licensure requirements, and engaging in scholarship and service.

Candidates must possess a current teaching license and a master's degree in an education-Related field, with a doctoral degree preferred; a minimum of five years of teaching experience in public or private schools is required, preferably in middle or secondary education. Expertise in science or social science content is also sought.
