The instructor provides classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction for nursing major students, including preparing content, assignments, and evaluating academic and clinical progress. They must also interact with health team members in clinical agencies to facilitate student learning and maintain partnerships supporting educational goals.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree with a major in nursing (MS or MSN) and have at least two years of clinical nursing experience as required by Illinois regulations, preferably with pediatric, med-surg, or maternal child experience. Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) in Illinois is required.
Provides classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction for students in the nursing major including preparation of content, assignments, and evaluation of student clinical and academic progress. Maintains community and clinical partnerships that support educational goals. Participates in the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the total educational program.
