Direct Service Professional (DSP)

The direct service professional provides hands-On care, instruction, supervision, and engagement to individuals with developmental disabilities across residential, educational, recreational, and community settings. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, implementing support plans to promote independence, and ensuring participant safety.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and demonstrate patience, compassion, and strong communication skills for serving neurodiverse individuals. A valid florida driver's license and the ability to pass background checks are required, with preference given to those with prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
