The coaches will be responsible for working with both the boys and girls/non-binary Ultimate Frisbee teams, focusing on individual skills development appropriate for athletes of varying abilities. Abington Friends School, an independent school located in Jenkintown, PA, is seeking candidates for an immediate opening for head and assistant coaches with its Ultimate Frisbee program. The ideal candidate will have a prior Ultimate experience and will be available from 3:45pm to 5:30pm on weekdays for practices from the beginning of March through the end of May. Match day commitments for the spring season are on selected weekdays and some Saturdays and Sundays. AFS sponsors both a boys and a girls/non-binary team, and the ideal candidate will be expected to work with both teams.
Compensation for this position is determined through AFS’s Coaching Stipend Scale depending on the candidate’s years of experience, years employed by AFS, coaching level and length of season. An approximate stipend range for the position is available upon request.
