Sterile Processing Educator - $5k Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance (if needed)

The incumbent is responsible for instructing staff on the proper decontamination, cleaning, assembly, sterilization, and high-Level disinfection of all reusable instrumentation within the medical facility and satellite areas. This role also involves creating, implementing, and monitoring departmental policies and procedures related to sterilization and performing comprehensive audits on staff competency.

A minimum of a high school diploma and two years of experience in sterile processing, operating rooms, or a similar setting, including knowledge of decontamination and sterilization sciences, is required. Candidates must possess the cbspd cspdt or iahcsmm crcst certification.
