Substitute Assistant Teacher

The substitute assistant teacher assists the lead teacher in planning and facilitating developmental activities for children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social growth. Responsibilities include leading group activities, monitoring health and safety, maintaining classroom organization, and communicating daily progress to the lead teacher.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, along with proven ability to work constructively with diverse populations. Desired qualifications include coursework in early childhood education or a cda credential, and previous group program experience.
