Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher supports the lead teacher in planning and facilitating activities for young children (Ages 2-5 and/Or school-Age), taking responsibility for daily class functionality and student supervision. This role involves leading group activities, assisting with lesson implementation and assessments, and supporting the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of the students.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, passing a background check, and holding cpr/First aid, food service certifications, and gateways registry membership. Desired qualifications include coursework or an associate's degree in early childhood education or related fields.
