Swim Instructor (Morning Shift)

The swim instructor will provide direct leadership, prepared instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes, teaching beginning to advanced swimming and safety skills according to age group and class level. Key duties include preparing lesson plans, safely instructing skills according to ymca guidelines, completing necessary reports, and assisting with record keeping and parent communication.

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and ideally possess six months or more of related experience, enjoying work with youth and diverse populations while being able to demonstrate basic swimming skills. Applicants must pass background and reference checks and be willing to complete required child abuse prevention and other training.
