Core responsibilities
The summer day camp counselor will directly supervise a small group of campers, ensuring their safety while leading and assisting with various engaging activities such as swimming, games, sports, songs, and arts and crafts. Key duties include planning activities, completing head counts, communicating with parents via cards, and adhering to cleaning and sanitation protocols.
Requirements summary
Candidates should ideally possess six months or more of related experience, a positive attitude, and prior experience working with children and diverse populations. Applicants must pass background and reference checks and commit to promoting diversity and inclusion, along with completing required child abuse prevention training.
