Sports Based Youth Development Specialist - Dance

The specialist will execute the sports based youth development (Sbyd) curriculum, leading coaching sessions, delivering health education, and facilitating team circles while ensuring adherence to core values like teamwork, leadership, and communication. Key duties also include monitoring student behavior, maintaining required documentation, conducting student check-Ins, prioritizing outreach to students, and collaborating with academic staff on student support.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's mission and core values, including the use of restorative practices. Essential qualities include the ability to multi-Task effectively, function well both independently and as part of a team, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for serving at-Risk youth.
