American Sign Language Adjunct Instructor

The instructor will plan and teach american sign language courses according to curriculum goals, remaining current with subject matter and instructional methodology. Essential duties include employing appropriate assessment techniques, communicating student progress timely, and submitting grades according to college policies.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in asl, deaf education, interpreting, special education, education, or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with national certification from organizations like rid, nad, or aslta. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience teaching college-Level asl courses.
