Core responsibilities
Counselors and therapists will help clients resolve issues to prevent institutionalization or out-Of-Home placement, focusing on keeping families together through creative and empowering strategies. Responsibilities include providing counseling in homes, communities, or schools, and for masters-Level staff, conducting clinical assessments and crisis services.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree in a human services field (Qmhp eligible) or a master's in marriage & family therapy, counseling, or social work (Resident/Supervisee eligible). Applicants need prior mental health experience, the ability to work afternoons, evenings, and some weekends, and must have a safe driving record with personal vehicle access.
