Childcare Specialist

The childcare specialist supports and directs activities within focused program areas like education or arts & crafts, while enforcing daycare policies and maintaining member safety and confidentiality. Key duties include creating engaging lesson plans, transporting members, and acting as a role model for conduct and development.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, along with specific educational endorsements or programmatic experience ranging from three to six months depending on qualifications. Excellent organizational and communication skills are necessary, and cpr/First aid certifications are preferred.
