  • US:WI:MANITOWOC at our FROEDTERT HOLY FAMILY MEM HOSP facility. This job is ON - SITE.

  • Shift: Tuesday 8pm to 6 am and every 2nd weekend of the month. Applicants should reside within 30 minutes of the hospital.

  • Summary: The Chaplain provides spiritual care to patients, their families, and hospital personnel in cooperation with others, addressing spiritual needs which surface relative to accidents, illness, crisis, and death. Individuals will be trained to document within Epic. Duties would include weeknight, weekend and holiday call coverage.
  • Experience
  • DESCRIPTION: Active faith community or chaplaincy experience is preferred.
  • Education
  • DESCRIPTION: Theological education from a CHEA Member organization, accredited college/university which fulfills education requirements for Board Certification in Chaplaincy (BCC) from the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), or similar national certification is required. 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE, NACC or its equivalent is preferred. Masters of divinity is preferred.

  • DESCRIPTION: Must be informed of the Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives and be able to work within the values and boundaries found therein (site specific)

  • DESCRIPTION: Written ecclesiastical endorsement by a faith group is preferred.
  • Licensure
  • DESCRIPTION: Certified in the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or similar national certification organization is preferred. Ordination or commissioning to function in a ministry of spiritual Care by an appropriate religious authority is preferred.
