Entry Level Swim Instructor

The entry level swim instructor will shadow and assist in teaching and motivating students in swimming classes according to ymca guidelines. This role also involves building relationships with students and parents, conveying program information, and maintaining required records.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old with some high school level education and possess current cpr for the professional rescuer, aed, basic first aid, and emergency oxygen certifications. The instructor must obtain ymca swim instructor certification or equivalent shortly after hiring.
