Core responsibilities

The assistant group leader will plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences for school-Age children, focusing on social/Emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development while maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities also include supporting the classroom team, observing and recording child behavior, assessing classroom needs, and maintaining strict adherence to health and safety policies.

Requirements summary

Candidates should maintain working knowledge of childcare philosophy and applicable regulations (Eec, naeyc, qris) and support the learning environment. Some experience working with school-Age children is preferred, and the role requires patience, the ability to follow directions, and physical capability to perform cpr and lift up to 30 lbs.
