Clinical Mentor Extender (RN) -Inova Alexandria Hospital & Inova Mount Vernon Hospital

The rn instructor will provide support to newly hired rns, especially new graduates, by receiving hand-Offs from clinical mentors and offering general assistance across various specialties. Responsibilities also include supporting the new graduate boot camp focused on increasing confidence and competency in critical nursing skills.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in nursing and a minimum of two years of progressive experience in a designated nursing specialty. Required certifications include bls from the american heart association and an active or eligible registered nurse license in virginia.
