Teacher Assistant - Special Education (ELC, The Grace and Carter Schools)

The teacher assistant supports the implementation of educational, functional, and therapeutic goals for students as outlined in their individual education plans. They also provide individual and small group instruction while assisting with data collection, classroom equipment maintenance, and student supervision.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed an approved teacher assistant training program or hold a relevant degree. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and perform tasks such as bending, squatting, and standing throughout the workday.
