Physical Therapist Resident

The resident is independently responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs designed to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. This role also involves gaining patient and provider cooperation through competent assessment, monitoring, and effective communication, while adhering to all safety and privacy regulations.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program or possess a valid pt license, and must hold or be eligible for a physical therapist license, along with basic life support certification. Department-Specific requirements for home health include a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
