Summer Literacy Specialist Bronx

Specialists are responsible for leading summer activities for children and teens at new york edge program sites, which includes teaching or co-Leading daily activities and building strong relationships with students. They must establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate these objectives to the students.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A broad knowledge of the principles and practices of current educational trends in literacy curriculum and successful experience teaching youth are required.
