Core responsibilities
The career counselor is responsible for delivering individual and group counseling services to students covering personal development, career development, and behavior, including providing crisis intervention. Duties involve organizing and conducting career/Academic/Social counseling sessions, assisting students with advanced training or college admittance, and maintaining documentation and communication with parents and staff.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in counseling or a related field, coupled with a bachelor's degree that includes at least 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-Related instruction. A valid state driver's license is also required to perform the essential functions of this role.
