Core responsibilities
The registered nurse assists the health and wellness manager in developing and evaluating a wellness program aligned with student needs and job corps objectives, while also covering the director's duties when absent. Key duties include ensuring doctor's orders are followed in the wellness center, maintaining patient charts, dispensing prescribed medication, and serving as the on-Call nurse.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted registered nurse license for the state of practice and a valid state driver's license, with an associate degree in nursing preferred (Bsn preferred). One year of related experience working with youth is required, along with above-Average skills in public speaking, communication, problem-Solving, and computer literacy.
