  • We need part-time MSDE School Age Qualified Teachers and Assistant Teachers.
  • Columbia Association’s School Age Services program operates before and after school care in 20 elementary schools in Howard County.
  • Responsibilities include assisting the in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and weekly lesson plans meeting the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children.
  • Other duties include assisting with cleaning and maintaining a healthy, safe environment, and promoting positive, open communication with families, children, and staff.
  • The position is for the school year that begins in August 2025 thru June 2026.
  • Open positions include morning shifts (6:45am - 9:15 am) and afternoon shifts (3:00pm - 6:00 pm) and will end the last day of school in June 2026.
  • A candidate can choose to work both shifts or only the morning or afternoon shift.
  • The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $21.90/per hour.
  • The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role.
