Adjunct Faculty - Medical Assisting

The faculty member is responsible for engaging students in the teaching and learning process by planning and teaching courses that meet curriculum goals, while remaining current with subject matter and instructional methodology. Essential duties include employing assessment techniques, communicating student progress promptly, and submitting grades according to college policies.

Candidates must be a certified or registered medical assistant with a minimum of two years of experience working in an ambulatory care setting and two years of teaching experience. An associate degree in a related field is preferred, and the instructor must possess strong communication skills and proficiency in standard office software.
