The main responsibility is providing support and guidance to students currently or previously in foster care to navigate independent living while pursuing academic goals, which includes academic planning and career exploration. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or social work, along with two years of experience working with youth in the child welfare system. Essential qualifications include knowledge of higher education systems, strong communication and listening skills, time management abilities, and adaptability to evolving student needs.
