The Programs in World Languages (https://worldlanguages.wvu.edu) at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions, with instructional needs in Spanish. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in-person or online courses in the Programs in World Languages’ undergraduate and graduate programs. Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis.
These positions require a master’s or doctoral degree in World Languages, Literatures, or Linguistics/Applied Linguistics, or a closely related discipline, along with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master’s degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses. For courses taught in languages other than English, proof of proficiency may be requested.
