Job duties/Responsibilities

  • Minimum requirements
  • A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • A California Speech-Language Pathologist license (Note: RPE temporary license holders are required to also obtain an SLP credential)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic Skills Requirement [https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/cl-667/]: CBEST or Basic Skills Equivalent [https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/cl-667/]

  • Baccalaureate (or higher) degree transcripts
  • Community/Junior College transcripts (if applicable)
  • Subject Matter Requirement (Credentialed and Intern applicants)
  • Copy of credential (if applicable)
  • Copy of Internship eligibility letter (University Intern applicants only) 3. Provide contact information for professional references, including current or most recent school-based or child-centered employment 4. Applicants may be contacted by Human Resources with requests for outstanding documents or information. 5. Applicants who are deemed ELIGIBLE by Human Resources/LAS Program will be contacted for a District interview 6. Candidates who receive an offer from the LAS Program will be contacted with onboarding instructions.

Requirements

Minimum requirements include a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders, a California Speech-Language Pathologist license, a valid driver's license, and passing the CBEST or equivalent Basic Skills test.
