Core responsibilities

The behavior technician will work one-On-One with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (Asd) to teach essential life skills, communication, and coping mechanisms while continuously collecting electronic data on client progress. Responsibilities also include providing a safe environment, interacting positively with clients, following clinic schedules, and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a board-Certified behavior analyst (Bcba).

Requirements summary

Candidates must be 18 years or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass a background check, with the physical ability to lift 50 pounds. Preference is given to applicants with experience in human services, working with young children, or working with individuals with autism.
