Teacher Assistant

The primary duties involve assisting teachers and delivering direct educational services to service users who have intellectual, developmental disabilities, mental health, or substance use challenges. Responsibilities also include ensuring class schedules are followed, assisting in activity development, providing basic care instruction, and collecting/Recording individual progress data.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or g.e.d. Along with a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Pre-Employment screening includes criminal background checks, registry name checks, drug testing, and education verification.
