Responsibilities
- Prepare for, complete, and successfully pass the initial Gold's Gym certification.
- Complete the onboarding program and follow provided training protocols.
- Shadow experienced trainers to learn effective training techniques.
- Assist in member engagement and conduct fitness assessments.
- Actively seek feedback to improve training skills and member interactions.
- Obtain a nationally accredited personal trainer certification within 6 months of hire.
Qualifications
- Organized and reliable with an approachable attitude.
- Must have excellent communication skills and adaptable coaching methods to different exercise experience levels.
- Must be able to quickly determine program changes to keep members engaged regardless of experience or fitness ability.
- Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
