Substitute Teacher Responsibilities & Duties Provide supervision and coverage in classrooms as needed Provide general campus support in the main office, classrooms, cafeteria, or other campus spaces Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success Implement positive behavior interventions and support (PBIS) and other behavior management strategies Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment Experience using technology and multimedia resources in the classroom Be open and receptive to feedback and coaching Substitute Teacher Qualifications & Skills Experience working with school-aged children preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
