Middle School Learning Specialist, Leave (AY26-27)

This role involves coordinating academic student support for 7th and 8th grades, working with teachers on best practices, supporting student assessment, and providing direct instruction when necessary. Key tasks include co-Leading the student support team, supervising the academic specialist, and coordinating outside evaluations and in-House intake processes.

A graduate degree in special education, language & literacy, educational psychology, cognitive psychology, or a related field is required, along with proven experience working with middle school-Aged children who have mild to moderate learning needs. Ideal candidates should demonstrate experience in direct instruction for learning issues (Especially organizational skills), the ability to manage a learning center, create individualized support plans, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
