Childcare Teacher Part-Time

This role involves assisting the lead teacher with daily classroom functions, including planning developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining a safe environment, and directly caring for children's needs like dressing, feeding, and monitoring development. The teacher is also responsible for encouraging positive development, implementing discipline, teaching healthy habits, and maintaining detailed records on individual children.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though one year of prior experience working with children is preferred. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain first aid and cpr certification within 30 days of hire. Essential abilities include excellent communication, patience, knowledge of childcare principles, and the capacity to relate well to children.
