The primary duty involves maintaining constant surveillance of the pool area, supervising swimmers, conducting safety checks, performing rescues, and administering first aid/Cpr when necessary. Additionally, the role includes teaching level-Appropriate swimming techniques and water safety according to established standards.

Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess at least one year of experience working with children. Required certifications include cpr, first aid, and red cross lifeguard certification, or a willingness to obtain them.
