Therapist, School-Based Mental Health Program, (1525)

The therapist is responsible for scheduling, screening, and conducting intake interviews, providing individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents as part of the school's behavioral health coordination team. Essential duties include developing and implementing treatment plans, providing crisis management, coordinating treatment with school personnel and families, and maintaining thorough clinical documentation.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, along with a current d.c. License in their specific discipline (E.g., lgsw, lgpc). A minimum of two years of direct service experience in a mental health setting is required, including experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults, as well as outreach to community groups and parents.
