The primary role involves identifying and assisting students, families, and school systems in overcoming barriers to learning through assessment, counseling, consultation, and resource coordination. Essential functions include developing school programs to reduce conflict and improve equity, conducting needs assessments, and facilitating crisis response and follow-Up.

Candidates must possess a master's degree or advanced degree in social work and hold or be eligible for a school social worker certificate in arizona. Required experience includes one year as a social worker serving p-12 students or a relevant social work practicum in a school setting, along with a valid azdps level 1 ivp fingerprint clearance card.
