Paraprofessional (Teacher's Assistant) AMS South Mountain (2025-2026 School Year)

The paraprofessional will support lead teachers by assisting with instruction, classroom management, and transitions, while also providing one-On-One or small-Group support to students based on their learning plans. Key duties include maintaining a positive classroom environment, preparing materials, and occasionally substituting for lead teachers.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with successful completion of the paraprofessional exam, or an associate’s degree or higher. Previous experience working with children in an educational or youth-Focused setting is required, and the ability to obtain a level one ivp fingerprint clearance card is necessary.
