Security Officer

The security officer will maintain a vigilant presence across campus grounds and buildings, monitor for suspicious activity, and maintain radio contact with security and facilities directors. Responsibilities also include participating in drills and responding to on-Campus emergencies like injuries or accidents.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of experience in law enforcement or private security and must hold or be able to legally possess a valid connecticut pistol permit with a security officer firearm endorsement. Required certifications include cpr, aed, and first aid, along with proficiency in firearm handling and the ability to swim.
