Cheer Camp Counselor - French Creek YMCA

The role involves providing direct supervision to a group of children in a seasonal day camp, ensuring their safety, and fostering positive relationships with both participants and their caregivers. Essential functions include documenting incidents, maintaining records, preparing or following assigned curriculum, and maintaining discipline among the children.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and be at least 18 years old, with previous experience in sports programs or working with children preferred. Required certifications include first aid, cpr, bbp training, concussion training, and obtaining odjfs licensing certification within 30 days if applicable.
