  • You’ll Do: As part of our practicum program, you will receive hands-on experience, attend orientation, and have the opportunity to network with our managers and clinical staff. Our practicums offer the potential for academic credit, depending on your institution. Also, High-performing students may be considered for employment post-practicum.
  • Spring session application deadline: December 1
  • Summer session application deadline: April 1
  • Fall session application deadline: August 1 Because we receive a high volume of practicum applications, we are unable to contact every applicant individually. Only candidates selected to move forward in the process will be contacted. We appreciate your interest in joining our team. Notification of acceptance will be communicated within 2-4 weeks of the application submission. Practicums are for the Charlotte and Greensboro area only. QualificationsTo apply for a practicum, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Classification: Practicums are open to junior, senior, or graduate-level students.
  • Background
  • Checks: Applicants must pass required background checks, including the Diana screen.

  • Certifications: Current and valid immunizations and certifications as required.

Availability

Practicums are available seasonally (Spring, Summer, Fall).

Training

  • Must be able to complete in-person training in Charlotte, NC, or Greensboro, NC from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (the length of training will be determined by our
  • L&D team, but could be up to 8 days of in-person training)
  • Agreement: We must have a practicum agreement with your school
