After School Program- Student Aide (Support Specialist)

Core responsibilities
The student aide will provide daily one-On-One support for a student with special needs to ensure their success in the after-School program, including interpreting instructions and providing physical assistance as needed. They will also support the student within the group setting, adapt materials to address learning needs, and encourage social interaction with other participants.
Requirements summary
Candidates must commit to the full academic school year, working monday through friday until 6:00 pm, and must possess either an aa degree or higher, or 48+ college credits, or pass the sfusd ia exam. Essential requirements include passing a criminal background check, having tb clearance, and the ability to communicate professionally with various stakeholders.
