Swim Instructor

The swim instructor will provide direct leadership, prepared instruction, and motivation for students in swimming classes, instructing beginning to advanced swimming and safety skills according to age group and class swim level. Key duties include preparing class lesson plans, safely instructing lessons according to ymca guidelines, completing necessary reports, and communicating with parents via session report cards.

Candidates must be a minimum of 15 years old and preferably have six months or more of related experience, along with the ability to demonstrate basic swimming skills and comfort working in and around water. Applicants must also pass background and reference checks and be committed to promoting diversity and inclusion.
