About the Role
We are seeking a Floating Lead Preschool Teacher to join our mission of providing New York City’s 2-5-year-olds with a foundation for lifelong learning. In this role, you are the ultimate multi-hyphenate. One hour, you might be spotting a budding gymnast on the bars, the next you’re stepping in or supporting a lead teacher in one of our “Tools of the Mind” private preschool classrooms. You are the glue that holds our community together and the spark that makes our enrichment programs legendary and preschool classes an incredible foundation for lifelong learning!
What You’ll Do The Classroom Chameleon
- Lead and Assist a variety of classes for children ages 2 to 6 years. You’ll use a variety of curricula to teach everything from preschool to art and stem classes!

Requirements
What We’re Looking For Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in ECE or a related field (or currently enrolled in a program) Certification/Study Plan: A NYS Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification (B-2 or 1-6) OR be on an NYS-approved Study Plan (be studying toward a BA or MA with at least 90 ECE credits or an Associate’s degree in ECE).
Experience
- 2+ years of lead teaching experience in Pre-K (2-4 year olds) or Kindergarten. Camp, after school, and other enrichment experiences are a plus!
