Job Description

Bowie State University is accepting applications to establish a pool of applicants for future openings African American History.

Responsibilities

  • Teaches undergraduate level courses in African American History.
  • Meet assigned classes in accordance with the established schedule.
  • Complete all duties related to instruction including presenting lectures, assigning coursework, and grading.
  • This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required for this position.
  • The university reserves the right to amend and change responsibilities to meet organizational needs.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. Degree in History.
  • Teaching experience at the college level in area of concentration or significant professional experience relevant to the teaching area.
